Portage County USBC Meetings 2020
USBC requires all locals to have at least one scheduled general meeting each year where all members of the association are free to attend. This year we will have this meeting on Saturday, April 11 at 1:30 at Spins Bowl Kent. Refreshments will be available. The purpose of the meeting is to conduct official business such as election of Directors, change by-laws, and plan for the coming year. We also celebrate the winners of the Portage County Tournament by awarding jackets, trophies, and prize money at this meeting.
The Board of Directors is also required to hold business meetings throughout the year to discuss topics such as the Hall of Fame, tournaments, the budget, membership, and any other matters brought before it. Any member of the Portage County USBC is welcome to attend any of these scheduled meetings and bring up relevant topics, room permitting. Meetings are usually scheduled for Sunday evenings at Spins Bowl Kent Lanes, unless noted below.
